Parallels in the Weirdest Places
I ran across two things today that, on the surface, are unrelated. Here's the first: It's part of an episode of the TV series Mythbusters. I've never caught this show on TV, but I've heard plenty of references to it from co-workers and such. (HT: Tony Reinke)
Pretty wild, huh?
Enter the second item. It's a video clip from a sermon preached by Mark Driscoll, pastor of Mars Hill Church of Seattle, WA. You know how the guys in the Mythbusters clip had the digital readout showing the PSI of the water heater tank? I'm pretty sure someone in the congregation at Mars Hill should have had a monitor on Mark, as he about blows a gasket. Can we get this guy some passion?
